Cheat Mode
The cheats in Tropico 2 are activated by first holding down the Apple and Shift keys, typing a code, and then releasing them. To enable the "goape" and "goforit" codes, you must first select a pirate or a captive, respectively.

Code:	Result:
timber	Adds 100 lumber to your supply.
booty	Adds 2,000 gold to your supply.
britinv	Causes a British invasion.
frenchinv	Causes a French invasion.
spaininv	Causes a Spanish invasion.
goforit	Makes the selected captive try to escape.
goape	Makes the selected pirate become enraged.
loseit	Makes you automatically lose the game.
winit	Makes you automatically win the game.
normbuild	Resumes the normal building rules.
freebuild	Suspends the normal building rules.
